Default New Cobra in Texas

Hello Texas Club Members,
I've recently purchased a Cobra and would like to be involved with the Texas Cobra Club. I live in the Carrollton/Lewisville area. I'm excited to have the Car and look forward to some warmer weather to do some cruising.
Thanks,
Jack Hopkins

Congratulations Jack - I'll look forward to meeting you. There are several members that live in your area and you'll like everyone of them. Tell us a little something about your car.
Jim

I'm trying to figure out how to upload pictures. I'm sure I will get it figured out soon. I just purchased the Car from Metz Motor Cars(who built it)in FL. It is a Hunter frame and body with a Engine Factory 351W/400HP

Welcome Snakin. We meet the first Saturday of every month for lunch/breakfast depending on the time of year. The Dallas Cobra Club is a great bunch of guys. Check this page for updates on where we meet. We usually do not decide on where to meet until a couple of days before hand.

Welcome Jack,

Regarding pictures, first set up a photobucket account http://www.photobucket.com and uploaded your pictures, click in the IMG code box under the picture and photobucket automatically copies the code to your clipboard. The auto-copy is one of their recent upgrades.

Now go to your forum post. Right click and choose Paste or press Ctrl and V on your keyboard. That will paste the text from your computers clipboard into your post...

Use Preview to check you got it right before posting

Hope this helps

You Dallas guys tell him about the San Marcos Meet at the end of March. Then we can all see his Cobra.

Hey Jack. Take a look at the Jan 2 DFW Meeting Post and pics page 3. The weather does not hold up this bunch. Most of us are not equipped with tops, just Macho Man complex. Look forward to meeting you and the Cobra. Colin

Congradulations Jack on your new ride. Welcome to the madness. You are going to want to make the next two meetings as we will probably start talking about the San Marcos meet. This is one meet not to be missed 80-100 cobras and some of the best back road driving around.

John

Jack,

I am just down the street from Castle Hills also in Carrollton. Glad to have another Cobra guy in town. We meet the first Saturday of the month, rain or shine. Stay tuned here for where the Feb. one will be. We usually decide at least a day ahead of time!

John

Jack,

Personally I don't drive my cobra in the rain, but some of these other guys are a little crazy. Welcome and see you soon !!
