Default Caravan to San Marcos

Some of us are planning to head down Thursday around 10am providing weather outlook supports it. Some are driving their Cobras and some are trailoring. We plan to meet somewhere TBD north of LBJ near I35 to start out, with a planned stop at the Waco Flying W.

Let me know if you are interesting in hooking up.

JRoss and I are going to leave McK Thurs at 6 am, I think. Maybe a short comfort/coffee stop at the Cracker Barrell around 7:30 ish. Same stop in Waco. Are any of us going to be bringing our new red and black JBLs?

Sam

John Shelton is driving down and I'm towing. John wants to leave a little earlier to help "What's-His-Name" get things set up. So I'm planning on escorting him down. Depending on weather, we are planning to leave around 8ish. Everyone/Anyone is welcomed to join us or hook up somewhere, I believe there is safety in numbers.
Jim

Court,

I'd be glad to meet up with you and drive to Waco or beyond with you, but it really depends on the weather. I don't want to drive in rain (I only have a manual wiper that I really don't want to install). Right now they are saying it's suppose to be raining late Wednesday and early Thursday. I plan on waiting until Thursday morning to see what's what with the weather. I live very close to I-35W and plan on watching the radar and waiting for the best window to shoot down I-35 without hitting rain. I think you have my cell phone number.

Court, you could meet up with us at the parking lot of Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville at 10 if you like......or we could meet closer to Grapevine if you like so we can all head out together.

What way are you going? I would prefer to meet up a little farther south. Are you going down 121 to 35w?

The Coupe in tow is leaving around noon, with a warm box of chocolate chip cookies. We'll see you late afternoon.

Larry, no problem but please call Seitz around noon to be sure he did not oversleep his 10am alarm clock.

Weather permitting I wanted to leave with a early bunch. The 6am crowd sounds good to me. I will be driving my car. I think Bwana Gary mentioned leaving early also.

Sam, where/when might I be able to hook up with you and JRoss?

I sent the box of stuff for registration goodie bags to the hotel via FedEx this evening, so I feel a little reprieve about going down as early as I was previously thinking. Great to have a little more latitude, given the changing weather forecast.

Presently, earlier looks for higher percentage of precipitation coverage.

Jim, I am going to delay my decision on departure time according to a couple of trusted weather sites. Perhaps the 10am group will be the lucky ones.
