Invitation to the Texas Museum of Automotive History Party
Howdy ya'll: Stephen Page has invited one and all to attend the inaguration party of the TMAH at Fair Park...Please reply if you can make it. It looks interesting and a good reason for an evening mid week cruise.
Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen
Please make a bold notation on your social calendar to May 20th @ 7:00pm, 2010. The street address is 1221 Midway (inside Fair Park) Dallas, TX 75210.
Automotive racing has taken place in Fair Park since 1901. We are working with the City of Dallas to create a world-class automotive museum that tells the story of the interaction and development of commercial and race cars for the period 1901 to 1984, date of the Formula One Grand Prix in Fair Park - (see on car video from a F1 car lapping the Fair Park circuit in 1984: http://www.myvrl.com/video/f1-at-fair-park-dallas-1984 ).
We are staging the development of the TMAH in the Grand Place Building and will move to the museum's permanent home - the Science Place Building sometime in 2013. The TMAH will feature a "Restoration Factory" to teach life and job skills to at risk youth.
Please plan to attend this ground breaking event (food and drinks will be provided at no charge) and feel free to share this invitation with car aficionados and friends that would like to support the revitalization of Fair Park.
Additional information about the Museum can be seen at: www.tmah.org
Warmest personal regards - Stephen
