Impressive, enjoy!

Ask him to post what the settings on the dyno were too. Were they zero'd out or "tweeked". See what the chassis dyno says when you get it home and on the street.

Quite adequate Gary, as the Brit's would say. Your word is good enough on the numbers. Now to figure out some rear rubber to hold those horsies. In addition perhaps a package of Depends for the passenger seat! Drive Safe-Col

WOW! peaked at 6700, that is a pretty impressive setup for that many cubes. i'll bet the tq. was there from the start also. very nice. follow kc instructions and take care of her.

you know what the xpense is going to be now don't you, tires!!

I have Goodyear Billboards on it so will start with those. I wanted a FE that would spin more like a small block and kill some of the tork down low. We went with a single plane victor manifold and Keith cut it down 1/2 inch for hood clearance and also a solid roller, stage 3 heads and aluminum flywheel. Keith knows I wasn't driven on HP but more the combination and what ever it came out at would be fine. I try to down size the dyno sheets and post them later today.

Going to be tough to wrangle the T I T crew with their race and cross country schedules. Let us know when to be there.

Thinking the motor and trans might come over to Dallas next week as Rob told me they have another engine to go get next week and they probably will bring mine back also unless Keith is coming over to Dallas. Rob is doing my headers and side pipes so the plan is to take the car up there on a Saturday when Rob is available (he's racing with a NHRA Top Alco Team on most weekends) and just stick the motor/trans and he will keep it a couple days and do the headers/side pipes. I'll bring the car home and finish it while the headers and side pipes are being coated. I pretty much have everything now to finish the car.:)

Hood Clearance? Don't forget this! (cheap plug, I know:cool:)

We took that into consideration and if you look at the pic I just uploaded in the begining of the post the manifold was cut down 1/2 inch which will allow for hood clearance. I love your base plate and once I get the motor in I will see if I need it. Probably will but I hate to buy one until I know for sure. Also need to check and make sure the 850 Quickfuel carb is same demensions as a Holley you developed the plate for......

Well finally got the heat shield material installed, frame and other parts touched up, air vents in and let's see what's next....engine!
