Austin September meeting
Richard has graciously offered to have the September meet at his house. The date will be Saturday the 15th beginning around 4 or 5pm. The plan is to meet for a few hours and then head up to the Saturday night car show in either South Austin or the one in North Austin. Myself or Richard will get back to you with more details like directions later.

OK, Let's have some comments
OK guys,
Here's a map to my house. Let's have some discussion as to what time to start, are there going to be kids coming, will there be swimming (speedos anyone), what should we eat, are we going to cruise after and at what time. BTW, thanks Charmer, I hope the city doesn't go with your evaluation, I'll be paying more taxes. BTW, the address is 4304 Long Champ Drive, the phone is 328-9830 or my cell is 431-5907. |
Time: 4 to 5 for starters
Food: everybody bring a dish like we did at Gregg's Cruise: Hope so. I think most people are planning on going to one of the car shows afterward. Speedos? Not this dude! Lets have some input from our members for the head count. I hope you guys getting your cars actually get your cars in time. |

Flight is Scheduled
Howdy Barry and Richard,
I've already booked my flight home on the 14th. I'll have to say I'm a big "NO" on the speedo.... I wouldn't want to do that to ya'll nice people.... but I think a dip in the pool with an alcoholic drink may be in order. I'll see ya there. Let me know if there is anything specific you want me to bring otherwise I will bring the beer and finger food. I hope we have a 3fer party this time..... See ya'll then... Kyle |

Anyone else planning to show up at Richards house for our monthly meet (Saturday 15th)? We got some new Cobra additions in town and it would be great to see them.
I for one will attend the Oakhill car show later on in the evening.:p |

Has anyone checked out the car show at 183 and Lamar? Is it suppose to start at 10:00pm or earlier?

Jacque and I will be there - if Tony gets my carburetor fixed, then we will be in the Cobra ---- I hooooppppe!!!!! We will bring some more 'green stuff' aka guacamole - we have some sausage links that we could use for sausage wraps - but Tony said he was goin to bring Lockhart sausage - I'd rather have that!!!!!! Hope to see all the new cars and all the gang that we haven't seen in a while - you too Gregg.......

Guys....I hate to even say this again....I may not make it. Can't seem to get the clutch to engage the pressure plate??? Lots of good pressure, depress the pedel about an inch or so but no engagement? I'm dumbfounded????

Stuck in BFE
Hi fellow Cobra owners,
Been out of touch for a bit (been travelling quite a bit). I had hoped to make this month's meeting, but don't think that it will happen again. I'm stuck in Minneapolis, with no clear indication of when flights will re-open. And the 20-hour drive back to Austin sounds a bit tiring right now. Have fun for me too guys. Cheers, -Neil. |
