I went for a much appreciated drive today.
It had been quite a while since the JSHEL1 Hurricane Roadster had hit the streets... since October 7th to be exact. That would have been the first track day of the Shelby Texas 350 at Motorsports Ranch. Great fun was had at the event, up until about the 5th heat when she broke.
I did not get things diagnosed and back together as fast as I would have liked, and I missed a few really good outings, but I am happy to say that I am better now and better from the experience. I owe mention of a few names who were indispensable:
Steve Seitz - for loaning me his rig to get HM1038 home. (Steve and the CVAR guys in attendance at the Texas 350 were also instrumental in helping me keep things in perspective and get her loaded for the trip home.)
Stan and Elizabeth Hart, and my daughters - for meeting me upon arrival back home and helping to get the car garaged.
Joseph Dederichs - for expedited shipping and discount pricing of new clutch components from RAM.
Vicki - for loan of her side of the garage and for her clutch pedaling during the bleeding process.
Steve (again) and John Ross - for tools, and phone support.
