Cool DFW December meeting

Depending on which forecast, it looks like either 70 or 74 for Saturday.
Let's shake it up this year.

I've reserved spaces at Strokers Ice House on Harry Hines for lunch. 11:30
This place has some personality!

http://www.strokersdallas.com/

They have two Christmas drives:
1) Canned food drive for North Texas Food Bank
2) Gifts for the overseas troops, by Victory Motorcycles.

Or we can head up to AER as usual.

Need a head count so they can rope off the parking lot.

When you guys get your dates for your Spring Cobra meet in Austin (area) let me know. I think myself, Mat Twiehaus and maybe Dean Lampe are going to pull our cars down for the weekend (especially if you have something set up at one of the road courses)

Put me down for 1 head.

I will bring an unwrapped toy to drop off at AER afterward. I hate to desert Bill Wages ...

No reason we can't make that side trip afterward.

Anybody going to Cars & Coffee first?
A friend wants to check it out and see your cars.

1 parking space.
2 seats for lunch.

Perhaps only the east-siders, but who is up for the Downtown Dallas - Harry Hines Formula 1 route?

Tell them to come to lunch with us. They will get more one on one time with owners. The cars and coffee has a lot of distractions.

As for chatter about which donation drive, the canned food drive is a no brainer. Cull the pantry.

I liked the deployed soldier gift. My daughter is involved with another group, but says they like: candy, soaps & toiletries, baby wipes, stuff along those lines.

As for AER toy drive, which we've supported many years, any unwrapped toy. Who ever is interested can do a drive by and drop off. Or stuff them all in Sam's car.
