Default Driving Shoes In Dallas

Hey guys,

Do they sell any simpson driving shoes or any other brands any where in Dallas? I know Smiley's has them but only the high tops and I want some low ones. My brake and accelerator pedals are close and my big jym shoes don't work very well. I have a pair of running shoes I can wear that work but thought I buy something and like to try them on vs buying on line. Noticed Oakley makes some also so might run down to the one in North Dallas and see....

Sportsmansguide.com usually has Pilotis for about $35. I got some Pumas from them a while back also for about $35 that I prefer because they are the narrowest and work great in my Kirkham which is tight.

Is there a Competition Sales up there? If so the ones down here last time I went in had a big selection of shoes intended for drag racers that could be used.

I know what you mean though about trying on, I found some nice ones online but not sure how comfortable they would be.

If you care coming to the Meet in San Marcos, the Simpson store is just down the road in New Braunfels.

I can sympathize with trying to fit "clown feet" in a Cobra footbox.
The Piloti shoe works well for me and the best I have found for all day comfort....never seen any for $35 though. Mine were more than twice that
amount.

The $35 pilotis I was referring to were on sale in Sportsmansguide. You can
check online and see what they have, which varies. I wear a size 9 and have
had no problems ordering and having them not fit. Lucky me!
They may not always have them in stock but worth checking for the price.

Bwana Snake is right, Texas Driving Experience does stock Piloti's. Sounds like you got what you needed with the Pumas.

Default Driving shoes

I have been purchasing the Puma shoes at their outlet stores.

There is one located in San Marcos, visit and stock up, prices are low and always have a % off sale.
