Oct. shelby nationals

Hi guys. The Shelby nationals will be my first time to put my car, and me, on the track so I'd appreciate some tips on car and driver preparation. I plan on driving to the track for Sat. only tracktime and then drive back down from Lewisville for the Sunday car show. Sure would appreciate tips on maximizing the fun those two days. Has anybody considered having an American flag lap, given the recent events it might be a fine show of Texas patriotism!!!! Looking forward to seeing all of you soon.
