Austin Evening Cruises
The weather is cooling down! Who's interested in cruising around town in the evenings?

Ed,
I don't know about you, but I went out tonight and it was damn cold. I guess I'll have to wear a sweater from now on. Give me a call if you want to cruise. Hope I can get free. 328-9830.

Richard; Sunday evening I took the old FFR out for a spin. The sun was setting and the temperature was cool; so I made a loop around hwy71, 620, 2222, 360, 290, and back to 71. I passed your house and almost stopped to see you. I'm starting to enjoy cruising now, my cockpit heat is keeping me warm on these cool evenings.

Ray Russell and I took the old poker run cruise this Sunday morning from Oakhill to Wimberly. Great morning for a cruise. Call Richard and it was too cold for him. Tried to get a hold of Cammer, did have his phone number. Ray and I visited the old Lumber Yard and had coffee with Glenn Garrett. Glen had a few people wanting to rent my FFR for a few hours, not a chance! The WaterLoo Ice House hasn't been built yet, should be built by late February in Glenn's old facility.
If anyone wants to do any Hill Country Cruising, call me at 288-0446. It's always more fun when we have several Cobras convoying together.
ps; I need some local Austin Cobra phone numbers to call just in case someone wants to tag along.

Ed,
Would liked to cruised with you guys on Sunday - however, I just got back from hunting in Idaho and the 3 day drive home left me very tired - I just stayed home and was lazy all weekend - would like to go next time - just call 693-9130(hm) or 771-1059(mbl). BYW - I have been looking for something on the site where there used to be some individual pictures of our cars - and its not the section on members rides - do you remember seeing that or do you know where it is????? Later........

Snakecharmer; lets meet some where so I can see your new toy. I want to take photos for my collection. Call me anytime and we can go some where for a beer and a cruise.
Maybe we can get Cammer off that couch.
