Default Free Track Day Mar 2.Post-CarsCoffee ECR eventDetails...

Found this on another forum.
After Cars n Coffee.
Last month, this was a very fun, spirited outing on the track. I see they have added classes for increased aggressive driving.

(Copied, so typos are not my doing)
Eagles Canyon will be hosting a open track day after Cars and Coffee. If you have ever wanted to know what it is like to drive your car on a real road course racetrack, here is your chance to experience one of the great thrills in life.

For those of you that are beginners we will be hosting multiple FREE lead/follow sessions with your own vehicle following behind an experience pace car driver.

And don't worry, if you are one of those drivers that has proven track experience, you will not be left out. We will have a discounted Intermediate and Advanced sessions for only $75 per driver.

--- FREE LEAD/FOLLOW SESSIONS (BEGINNERS)

--- ONLY $75 FOR FULL TRACK SESSIONS (INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED)

--- INSTRUCTORS WILL BE AVAILABLE

--- FREE LUNCH

--- 11AM TO 5PM

We will have classroom time in the clubhouse before each session to explain everything to you. We will also be providing free lunch to anyone who comes out.

Weather is forecast to be sunny so should be a great day.

Come join us at Cars and Coffee before you head to the track to learn more about Eagles Canyon and your track day.

NO HELMET IS NEEDED FOR THE LEAD/FOLLOW SESSIONS FOR BEGINNERS. IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE SESSIONS YOU WILL NEED A HELMET

I highly recommend very good driving gloves, wrestler's shoes, and a helmet of some kind.

Default An alternative suggestion...

46 degrees...cold track, cold tires, cold brakes, cold brain spells disaster! Where will the warmth of the DFW Club Cobra be meeting March 2nd ? Save your track time for Fri. April 5th at Harris Hill Road Circuit and run with the best!

Exclamation

Jerry Cecco said the event was very well received. Total about 100 cars showed up. Do not know the details.

Another event will be March 23rd.

Here is his e-mail:___________________________________________
Gang,
I wanted to send out a another email to reconfirm,
The March 23rd track day is on
I talked with Maggie and Dave Cook today, Saturday March 2nd

I'm coordinating my efforts with Brian Smith.
A facebook page will be created soon.

ECR had a VERY BIG turn out today to the FREE lead/follow learning event:
https://www.facebook.com/events/1035...2931965561140/
...total about 100 cars

We believe MANY of today's NOVICES will be returning on March 23rd.

Please let me know as soon as you can,
so we can accommodate as many novices as safely possible.

Any questions, please email me back.

Jerry Cecco
