BBQ in Meridian, Saturday, October 26
Anyone interested in a run to Meridian (about ninety miles from Dallas) on Saturday, October 26, for the National Championship Barbecue Cook-off? http://bbq.htcomp.net/ Weather should be cool by late October. We have made this event before, and it's fun. |

Last year the west siders grouped up at the White Rhino Cedar Hill and then we joined up with the west siders in Cleburne at the court house. Some one needs to set the times.

We can rally by my place off 75 and Lemmon if the Dallas peeps need a spot to gather. Rustic restaurant parking lot is on the corner. I am up for meeting wherever. I just want to drive all day.

Last year we didn't have any trouble parking together with a 10:00 am arrival. Unless there is a reason to change, I would suggest searching "Meridian" and using that itinerary. For me that means an 8:30 departure from the White Rhino.
