Welcome back
mid-month impromptu
A huge welcome back goes out to
a long awaited sun-filled, moderate temp Saturday, inaugural class members of TCC, new Club Cobra forum lurkers, and those many who are always present (and those missed) from in-between, the Utah-Colorado-New Mexico Cruise Crowd, Eastsiders and Westsiders alike, the burgeoning Southsiders, extreme Westsiders, and distant Okies CVAR drivers and crew, Meridian BBQ alums and Forest Lane Cruise reunioners, fans of Big XII league parity (it makes me soooo happy), you SEC fans too (no less than eight schools in the top 25), do join in for watching the early warm-up games, good food, one or two glasses of tea, sailor/salesman/snappy yarns galore, other general camaraderie, and Cobra appreciation while meeting for a mid-month impromptu. When: Saturday 10/19, 10:30am - 2:00pm Where: Patio at Brickhouse Plano (4900 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093) I am holding out hope that we might be graced by some long lost faces, so extend some calls to those you know who might not be frequenting Club Cobra so much these days. |

Dang you John Shelton - great post. Well, take lots of pics. As part of my on going husbandry dues I am trading off this Saturday to go to a wedding with Anneliese. I promised.
Last weekend at Casita Worley : Southsider Rick Bickle came and ate and drank with us on the deck at Campuzano's Mexican Restaurant, and then a late arriving Dusty of Hurricane Motorsports hung out in our garage, and then Saturday Shane Wright, his wife Mary and their OU Sooner son (i'm terrible remembering all the names) came and checked out out little cobra project. Shane went ahead and pulled the trigger on a FF MkIV last week so he will be starting his build in the coming weeks. Y'all have fun, enjoy Forest Ln Cruise. I cannot WAIT to join in once hm2008 is on the road! |

Brickhouse or Katy Trail Ice house is cool with me. New place called Rustic in Uptown. I will see if we can do Rustic for Nov. mtg. They open at 11 of Sat. I am in for whatever this Sat. Count me in. Might bring my friend Shea who was at last mtg if he is available. Will see if I can find Dr. Brian who lives close by to rally also.
