Ok, I have two routes. One like posted before to Lake Texoma. The alternative is going east towards Lake Tawakoni.
You guys just let me know and I put it together. Something like a 80 to 100 miles with a lunch/squawk stop. Good buddies, some nice straight stretches and some turns, nice weather, Texas landscape and Lunch ---- I'm looking forward to it. |

Ok, here is choice #1 Lake Texoma for lunch at Highport Marina / Island Bar and Grill. Island Bar & Grill If we go from the usual place... Enter 121 North, 75 north, exit 121 north, go on FM 545FM east, north on 78/160, north west on TX11, around Sherman, east to 289 and north to destination. Kevin, how about we meet at Quaker Steak and Lube on 121 Plano around 9:30/45am and depart at 10:00am.
That's about an hour and a half ride, lunch and than the ride back. I guess the boys take 289 south back. You can take then 380 west and meet 35W to your home town... I assume we all be home by latest 3pm (1500hrs). My wife said she will come too. Hey John, come on lets go!! |
