First DFW meeting of 2002
Well, the first Saturday of January is in 4 days - are we having a meeting??

Steve Parks called me about an hour ago and he was at Champs on 114 in Las Colinas. Said he was going to see if we could meet there next Saturday and then post something here.

Ok Guys and Gals,
Here is the deal : Champps 855 West John Carpenter Frwy (114) Irving, 11:00 Saturday 1-05-02 They open at 11:00 If it is too cold for the cars come anyway. If not bethere at 10:30. We can park in the same spot we did last time we were there. If the weather is good that is. I talked to Melissa Harman , she is the manager. I told her we generally have 25-30 people show up to our meetngs. She said they would put us in the same room we were in last time so we could see the parking lot "IF" we get to bring the cars. Directions: Real simple 114 and McArthur Blvd. Champs is on the north east corner in the back of the parking lot. See Ya there Ferrari Killer Steve Parks |

Champs is a great place. I am so looking forward to meeting you guys.
I got to go over to Steve's last Sunday and see his Classic, man, what a gorgeous car...(and talk about garage envy....jeesh!) Also got to meet Clay and his gorgeous little LS427. Thanks Steve and Clay for a great Sunday afternoon, look forward to your help and input on building mine. I am hoping to make it Saturday. My wife had a small outpatient surgery done Monday, but she's back in the hospital tonight, possibly for 8 to 10 days. Blood Clot from the surgery. It's in a main vein high in her leg... so, we'll see. I'm about 80% there. I hear it's Sunny and cold Saturday, so I hope to get to see a bunch of your Cobras! greg |

I will miss this first event of 2002! Lyndsie is playing in a Volley Ball tournament in Austin Friday, Saturday & Sunday. The rest of the family is driving down today to visit in-laws, and I am flying down Friday afternoon to meet them. I will miss you guys, so have fun!! John R.:( :( :( :( :( |
