Oh come on! That was just a small jab. Unfortunately, I have been at the receiving end of a tow strap before also. It is kinda embarrassing. I was "showing off" for a friend of mine. Nailed it out of the hole and when I hit second, all hell broke loose! The front u-joint broke, it flopped around for a few seconds but before I could stop, it dug into the asphalt and launched the car into the air and ripped the pinion gear out of the rear end (a Ford nine inch even!). Of course oil went every where and for months, you could see a trail of oil all the way to my house where I was towed. I have a strap under there now to keep the drive shaft in there if it breaks again.
