Talking Dallas February Meeting

The Dallas February meeting is set for Saturday, Feb. 2nd. Location is Boston's Restaurant & Sports Bar in Irving. 1100 Market Place Blvd. (972) 869-2210. This is on the Northwest corner of Mac Arthur Blvd. and 635, in front of Kohl's and Sam's. Boston's opens at 11:00 am so plan to show up around 10:30 or so. I'll be there around 10:00 with the orange cones to block off parking spots.

Boston's have a glass enclosed outdoor patio area with heaters (if needed) over looking the parking lot. Manager Ray Narvarez is excited about us meeting there and will be there early to make sure everything is set up for us. If the weather is ugly, they'll block off an area inside for us as well.

Since this is the last opportunity to get together before the Austin annual meet, let's have a good turnout. Steve Parks will be collecting the $20 per person for the Austin meeting. We'd like to have as many Austin attendees pre-pay as possible to minimize out of pocket expenses for our colleagues planning and coordinating the event.

Jim

Jim,

Carrie and I will be there early as well. We will bring the two kiddoes to lunch, but not to Austin. We (Carrie) will collect the money and the names of the people that prepay and we will send it to Austin.

The Only thing I might add is the Amount is $20.00 for each adult and $10.00 for each child.

See you all there.

Unhappy "Extinguished?"

I guess that was meant to be a compliment , but what can you expect from an Extinguished President?

Let's be sure to have a good turn out from all the Dallas area members.

Sounds like another great TCC get together! I'm working from 0530 to 1100 that day but plan to Cobra right on over to the Eating Meeting ASAP. Rita and me are looking forward to the Austin trip, will prepay when I get to Boston's.

Default Next Saturday

Got a call today from the General Manager at Boston's, reconfirming our meeting. He wanted to be sure they are well prepared for us. So, who else is coming that hasn't responded yet? Haven't heard from the Baldwins, Jay, Drew, Gary S., Keith, Clay, Chip, Dick F., and many others I can't think of.
Remember, this is the last meeting before the Austin event, and many of the details of this terrific event will be discussed. Be there and get all the details!

Jim

Christie, Mitchell, and I should be in attendance !!
Mitchell is now six weeks old and loves to ride in the car (No, not the cobra, mom won't even discuss it.... yet.) So as always, I get the last words in at my house, "Yes, Dear." We are slowly working our away out of a serious case of sleep deprivation, but it has been lots of fun with the little guy.

We look forward to wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

regards... Chip
