SCAT & TCC.....please read

As many of you know our monthly SCAT meeting is going to be this Sunday at 1:00PM at Papas Bar-B-Que. The main reason is to get people off their duffs and drive their cars as that is what Shelby had intended. We as TCC members do not have that problem. We have been mentioned several times in the past meetings as knowing how to have a good time. Many of you know that Mark Winkelman is really pushing hard for the Shelby Mustang crowd to get out and drive!!!!! He is even going as far to say in the next mewsletter that if anyone out there does not have the enthusiasm to get their car road worthy in preparation for our 25th Anniversary east Texas cruise....more on that later, then let him know as he has had several calls from VERY enthusiastic people looking to buy a Shelby for the first time!! With this in mind I would really like to see, weather permitting, as many SCAT / TCC members in attendance on Sunday....Let's really show them how it's done..........AND for any TCC members that need another fix come on out and see what you think. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!!!!

Well, we are leaving Friday morning to drive to Houston for the USPF Texas Cup powerlifting competition. I am competiting in the Master 40-46 age group, and our son Nick is competing in the teen 13-15 age group. (FYI - Nick placed 2nd in his class at WABDL World Championships in Reno, Nevada last November!)

So ANYWAY, we won't be back in time for the meeting/cruise

But we will definitely be in attendance next month!
