Default Water Pump Pulley for 460/429

Haven't been able to find a stock V-belt water pump pulley for a 460/429 in the Houston area. I've got a March set with their large water pump pulley. I think I will get better cooling at residential speeds if I get a smaller pulley.

I have heard that the Ford pump should turn 1/3 faster than the crank. Right now I am turning slightly slower. March's small pulley only turns 10% faster than the crank.

If you have (or know of) a stock water pump pulley, let me know what the diameter is. If it is over 5 inches, it won't do me any good - I'll need to have one made = $$$.

Does anyone know of a source for stock water pump pulleys for a 429/460 (V-belt)?

Thanx.

Frank

Thanx, Tony -
Very interesting - 25% overdrive; similar to what some old timers have been telling me.
If you don't mind, I would like to have the measurements from Lincoln motor.
Regards,
Frank
