Default Houston Meeting

We had a good crowd come out. I believe there were 12 cars - 2 left before lunch. Special thanx to Cammer for coming out. There were several people who intend to start projects of there own come to take a look and ask questions. A good time was had by all.

For those of you that went on the short 'cruise', everyone but Ron bailed out too soon. When I turned right off of 146, that was the beginning of the second half (better half - shadier and twistier) of the 'cruise'. It was supposed to end at 146 @ Main St. in LaPorte. Oh, well, maybe next time.

I'll be looking for word on a cruise to the NE? in the next week.

Regards,
Frank Newman

Glad to hear all went well! Any pictures?

The San Antonio one was fun as well but more on that later.

Frank, sorry about bailing, but seems we out-of-towners got a little confused. (Of course, I am in a constant state of confusion!) Good meeting and i believe the new bunch I drug over here with me enjoyed it too. Missed you Dennis. Missed some of the other folks too!
Also, Scott, I expect an announcement on this forum of your and Brandy's new arrival within MINUTES of happening! NOT LATER THE NEXT DAY! Adios, David.

Talking Houston Meeting

Naja and all others...the meeting today was well attended and a lot of fun. Can't wait until we get our FFR Spec Racer finished so that we can join the "group" in all events. It was nice meeting and talking with most of you all today.

Regards,

Terry, Barb & George

Great turnout today, sorry that I had to leave early, but I had to do a charity auction at noon. It was good to get the cobra out for the first time at a meeting. Again, I picked up some good advise. Next time.

Nice meeting yesterday. The weather was perfect and we all drove Cobras, what more could we ask for?
I'm really looking forward to the cooler driving season that's upon us.
David - I'll be sure to post as soon as I can. You think I can fit the baby seat in the Cobra? Just kidding, but I did see one of the Austin guys put his 3 year old in his car. The kid smiled the whole way!

Scott, even if we have to cut the car up, I believe we can fit a car seat in your Cobra. (Think about it- "Cobra Car Seats" could turn in to a lucrative business!) Later, David.
