I have had many conversations with the Christian Cruisers Car Club that averages about 200 cars per (club fundraiser) show about how to do a show (because I want to organize a show myself to benefit my Boy Scout Troop). I think Christian Cruisers rakes in the money for their club or charity because practically everything is donated by an auto parts store as sponsor for advertisement space, from the trophies to the door prizes and raffles prizes. The dash plaques are $1 each for lots of 50 or more, and the trophies cost around $5-$10 each, maybe cheaper if purchased locally. Their club also resale food and drink items at the show. I figure the profit is over $1000 for 130 cars entering in the show with a $10 entry fee (of which many other shows have a larger fee).
