Ok....

let's try January 11th...

Meet @ Hotel parking lot...10:00am

then we will take the cruise route to gruene and have lunch @ the gristmill. This will give us a chance to time it, and check road conditions, etc....

Let me know if this works...

Blake

Ed Csoltko 12-31-2002 08:52 AM

Okay by Me!

I'll be there!

As to drive the cruise route to Gruene, I'll take a rain check since I already drove it.

I recorded the milage at every intersection, checked all roads - all in excellent condition, and checked all the pit stop locations for gas stations.

I'll make copies for the Route Checkoff List, and those who choose to drive to Gruene can check it out.

Can we have coffee and a short meet to discuss other issues, then whoever wants to do the cruise to Gruene can do so. You can take my Route Checkoff List and verify it. Make additions or corrections to it. I will update it and make copies for everyone in February.

Let's roll!

I'm there...wife permitting of course. :D

Pain Killers!

I'm off my pain meds, off my crutches, and off my cane. I got into my Limo without extreem pain. Still can't bend the knee, only about 45 degrees. I almost tried getting into my FFR this afternoon. That's tomorrows goal. :3DSMILE:

Hey; I made the cruise plans before my surgery, so you can't blame bad instructions on the meds, only "old timers".:p

Ed Csoltko 01-01-2003 03:34 PM

All Right!

I slowly eased into my FFR this morning and fired her up. I believe clutching is good exercise right after knee surgery. A couple of street rod friends talked me into cruising through Wimberley to the Devil's Backbone (Riley's Tavern). Had a beer and a burger, and took the long way home. It was a great New Years day for a cruise. So I guess I'm back in the saddle again.:3DSMILE:

Now the Donut Gang wants my FFR in the Austin Car Show this weekend. I thought I was getting out of this, but I was the standby dude in case something happened to the other members. Well a T-Bucket was involved in an accident, thank God no injuries. So my FFR will be in it's first car show. O-boy! Those of you who know me know I rather cruise than show. :p See you at the downtown Austin Car Show.**)

Blake Olson 01-02-2003 11:48 AM
