TCC Membership - Annual Roll Call
At the first of every year, I generally start a post asking TCC members to check the web site membership roster and verify that all information is correct. The web address is:
http://texascobraclub.com/members.htm Please check and see if your info/profile is accurate and that the far right column e-mail link is right. Reply with any changes/additions. If you know of someone that has lost interest and no longer around – let me know. I need some input on one thing though. The roster currently has 218 names, but I would guess that 1/3 of these are people that we never see or even hear from. TCC has always tried to keep things simple with no forms, dues, renewals, etc. Question - should we continue to keep names on the list of people that are not active in ClubCobra, don't own a car, never attend a DFW, Houston or Austin/SA meeting and don’t attend the annual meeting in Austin?? I will do what ever the members want relative to the roster, but it does not make sense to me to keep people on the roster if they don’t take time to participate or are no longer interested. Let me know.:) |
Dick,
Here I am Matt & Julie Tice...the car is 122 I think it says 128 and the email is incorrect. res009kg@gte.net I would say that we go through Austin and if we haven't heard from you then you get taken off the list. Speaking of when are you going to post for the badges? :) matt |
Yearly Registration
Dick;
Why don't we have a yearly registration? Everyone should email you in January. Add small two check-off columns to your membership roster, one for being 2003 Registered, and one for Spring Meet Attendance. At the end of January, remove the names of those who did not register with you. Having a Spring Meet Attendance check off could help us evaluate the numbers of cars and people attending for planning purposes. Just my humble suggestion.:D |
Dick, I did not see a listing. The information is as follows:
Joe garland, email address; pjgarland@ev1.net messenger handle "justjoe" Car is a Unique FIA, w 351W. Hope this is all the info you need. Looking forward to meeting you at Austin meet in Feb. Joe G. |
I certainly agree that non-active participants should not be a burden. Just having sold my kit (long story but will have a happy ending) and not able to attend most functions, I fall into the non-active catagory.
You are welcomed to take me off the list and it will in no way dampen my interests in Cobras or the people associated with them and these websites. I'm sure you won't mind if I (or anyone else with a non-active status) stick around and enjoy the company. Thanks and sign me as a former and future, but not current, Cobra owner. Leo Miller |
I'm Here!
The only change is that I have a very rough Family web page.
http://home.austin.rr.com/herdlitchka/ Gregg and Donna Herdlitchka or What's his name and that cute women next to him! :D Gregg H |
Leo - you will certainly be maintained on the TCC roster - you are still active on ClubCobra and hope your job situation turns around so that you can get back in the Cobra ownership column. I was hopeing you might come down from Denton to Hartford's on Sat. We had a good time. My cousin came and was admiring Matt's engine - he said it was the first time he had ever seen Webers on a KIA.:LOL:

Yea ..... its alot of gas for a little 4 cylinder having 1 carb per cylinder but it looks good :JEKYLHYDE

Dick, still out here! My family and job mean I invariably don't attend any meetings other than the annual one in Austin, but I still look forward to that date every year. I am burning incense, sacrificing small animals, etc. hoping that another committment clears off so I can make Austin again this February.
Happy New Year, ya'll. Bob |

Dick, info is fine for now. Will update when I actually get SPF1301(I think that is the number). My first car, SPF 746, is owned by a guy in Houston. A dentist I think. He was at Austin last year. Anyway, if he is on the list, you could move the photo attached to my name to his. Hope to see you in Austin. Thanks for everything.
