My best Cobra buddy and friend Jim Woodward, left for CA this morning to have Prostate surgery. Remember him in your thoughts and prayers. He promised me, that he will be in Austin, so count Jim and Marge in. Don Barnes

My prayers are definately with the Woodard family.
Jim sounded very comfortable with the procedure and the surgeons performing it. Im sure that he is very good hands... The prayers will only help. |
We have been thinking about him ever since we heard the news. We are looking forward to seeing him healthier than ever at our next Cobra meeting!!!

Wow!!!!!!
What great support from my friends of the TCC and Club Cobra. I was released from the hospital today and am currently at my daughters home in Oceanside, CA. Not a bad place to be with a temperature of 80+ degrees and unlimited sunshine. I'll be in CA until next Wednesday and then back to Texas.
Marge and I can't say enough thank you's to everyone for the support, prayers and well wishes. It means so much to know friends are thinking of you and are concerned. The Doctors and staff at the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte, CA. are just terrific and took really good care of me. You can only imagine how relieved I was when the Dr. told me the cancer was contained to the prostate and it is OUT of my body. Hallelujah!! So, I'm not letting a little challenge like whipping ole Mr. C's butt to keep me away from my friends. See you at the February Dallas event and see you in Austin! Jim |
