Photos and Posters

Ed,
Remember the guy I arranged last year who took the group and individual photos last year and then sold them to participants at the barbecue? I have invited him to return this year. There is no obligation, but of course, he would appreciate our business. He will be there on Saturday but of course is not sure where and when would be the best way for him to show the end result. He does excellent work. Many of us bought pictures and especially the group photo last year of 60 cobras sitting on top of the Origin parking lot with the skyline of Austin in the background. Do we have an official "get together" back at the hotel after the cruise where he could meet those who wish to see or buy these pics?
Thanks

Ed Csoltko 02-06-2003 01:48 PM

Yep!

Jeff;

You mean Jack Puryear. His web site is:

We're all supposed to meet back at the hotel and/or hotel parking lot for a party/raffle/etc..

jrussell 02-06-2003 01:59 PM

Jeff, Thanks for Calling Jack!

Jeff,
Thanks for calling Jack, as he does do good work! I also think he will do a very good business back at the Hotel with group photos and any individual shots he might take. You might mention to him that we will be in Friday afternoon.

Photo Planning

I received this from Jack and have emailed a color map;

Hi Ed,

Thanks for the info. This year I believe the best scenario is to do the group photo, then set up somewhere along the Devil's Backbone and shoot each car as they pass by. Can you give me an idea as to the route so I can get there first and be ready? I believe a shot with Cobras "snaking" back and forth in the distance will be spectacular. Hopefully the sun will be at my back. Then on Saturday night I'll set my trailer up in the parking lot. Do you happen to know if there is power in the parking lot?

Thanks, I look forward to the event.

He want's to know if there is going to be any power in the parking lot!! :confused: :confused:

There's going to be more than 30,000 Horse power in the parking lot!! :D :D

What's this guy thinking?? :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Blake:

Thanks for the information. I put it in our files for that day.I do not see any reason why we cannot send a photographer out to get some video. I am also coping in the person that is working the Assignment Desk on that day to make sure everyone is in the loop.

Take care,
