I just spoke to a Meterologist friend of mine and he is telling me that the rain should stop in Dallas Friday morning by noon. What if we wait until 11:30 or Noon to leave from Cedar Hill? However, unless something is posted pretty quick I will be at the meeting place and ready to go by 10:00 am tomorrow.

I say lets convene in Cedar Hill at 10am and see what the weather is doing then. If its clear we go, if its not, we wait.
The good news is that the hotel in Austin is actually north of Austin in Round Rock and we won't be running into a wall of traffic on I-35 around rush hour. Its not like years past where its mass pandemonieum around 183/290 at 3 in the afternoon... |

Whatever works! I will still be in Cedar hill, most likely by 9:30am. However, I WILL have the weather channel on at around 5:00am or so to catch the skinny on what to expect. Ed, have Ray give us his route down & what the weather was like, but no matter what, you can't stop this train from Dallas from rolling on down the road!!
