Hey Boys& Girls! What day shall we decide on, the 8th. or the 22nd. I will make plans for whichever. If the weather is poor, we will hang around here and watch race's or Cobra stuff {bring your video's] Then go to one of our BarBQ joint's. If weather is good we will do the same thing, and take a cruise. We can discuss the cruise when we meet. No need to bring beer or stuff, got it covered! Let me know, and I will have it ready.

If I had a vote (as a San Antonio guy), I would say the 22nd. Could the SA folks join up with you guys? We could sure contribute to the festivities too!

Ether are ok with me I have set some time aside to meet Steve when he comes in next week end of the 8th . So we could do it then or the 22nd I can reserve as well .I prefer to do what ever date we could get the most attendance .But who ever can sneak out to meet with Steve and I would be nice .

O.K. Folks! Let's set the meeting for March 22nd. Try to arrive around 10:00. If the weather is good, I'll have a cruise planned. We can have barbeque for lunch in Elgin or we can take a run to Roundtop, Texas and catch lunch there at Royer's Round Top Cafe.
DIRECTIONS: Take 290 East out of Austin. When you get to Elgin, approx. 20 miles from Austin, you will see an HEB grocery on your right. Go to the second entrance and make a right. Go along the side of HEB, veer left over the railroad tracks and you will dead end at Central Ave. Turn right. Go approx. 1/8 mile and take a right into the first concrete driveway. Go past the guest house on your left and come up to main house. Wives and girlfriends are welcome. If you can reply on this thread as to whether you can attend and the number in your group it will help me with the arrangements. See you soon! Joe G. |

Sounds good to me .Got the Gt conv running and is ready to cruz till I get my Cobra together unless $$$$ pop up and the Gt is gone .Needs a good break in .
I would still get together with Steve this Saturday as well maybe some early Lunch in South Austin and lots of cobra Talk . I am just starting to feel better been real sick :CRY: Lost 15 lbs in 3 days that's the only good thing .Boy it feels like I ate that Fricking Hot sauce . :CRY: T |

Tony, we are still coming down this Friday the 7th. We have a rehersal dinner Friday (somewhere?) I am glad I don't have to keep up with that. The wedding is Saturday at 6:00PM. So Sat morn is open. Our hotel is Holiday Inn (I didn't make the reservations!) at 4209 Eck Lane. From what we understand it is very close to the corner of 183 and Mopac Exwy. How far are you from there? Do you want to meet around there or at your shop or where? If you plan something for Sat morn I will be there. I will call you Friday. Look forward to meeting you. Man I hope we don't move the date of our annual event. Guys, I am telling you if we do move the date, we are going to screw it up! |
