Default The Good,Bad & the Ulgly of the Austin event

The Good
I'm the new guy. I did some video of everyone leaving the origin parking garage.Everyone I met this weekend was just sooooo nice and kind with there assesment of my current build. I also towed a trailer on the cruise and ended up giving Dave "Ren man"& his dad Paul a helping haul to gruene and Home to Georgetown when his Red & White had problems. Once unloaded I went home to put my FFR#3340 project on the trailer every thing went awesome. I had just put the tires on and down on the suspension for the first time two days before the event. I was sooooo happy, Saturday night turnout was great also. And once again everyone was just sooo nice to the new guy.

The Bad
The lonnnnnnggggggg stop light in Wimberly. That's it.

The Ulgly
Saturday Night at the hotel event I set my camera bag down and in the zeal of everything I left it and didn't notice until I was leaving at 11:30. I still have the cool video of everyone leaving the Origin parking lot, this was my digital still camera bag. The video camera bag & video is safe. The camera is a Sony Mavica FD-90. I had a wide angle, telephoto lens, two cool PL filters & also binoculars in the bag also.In the bag was all my still photos of the days event.

If you hear anything about a found Camera bag let me know.

All in all this weekend kicked ass.

Hey, it happens. A year ago, i put my camera bag down by thte trunk for a moment, went into the house, and then backed over my camera bad, crunching a 35mm Minolta, two lenses, and some stuff.

Several years ago, opend the rear hatch of the minivan, out rolled my nice 28-105mm, and it smacked on the concrete, cracked it up, i just tossed it in the trash on the way into the motel.

Ah well, just money.
