FYI

I'm heading to Hurst this weekend. Will be cruising with Ray Russell to the TMS meet.

I should be free on Saturday 4/12/03 for a Austin meet, if anyone is interested in doing anything. The rest of April we're on vacation.

Cobra Dude 04-01-2003 05:19 PM

Sine you generally like everyone to grab 2 months at a time, I'll take April as well, if no one else has it.

Here's my first question... Saturday April 12th *before* everyone finds out they (we) have no money for fuel in the Cobra? Or April 19th, when we realize it doesn't matter anyway?
:3DSMILE:

Cheers,
-Neil.

Cobra Dude 04-01-2003 05:22 PM

Hmmm... now that I think about it, you probably wrote "on vacation" to mean out of Austin, instead of "available/free" as I first understood.

So let's hear the Ayes and Nays for April 12th everyone...

Cheers,
-Neil.

The Waco meet is that weekend, and we have commited for that event.

Cobra Dude 04-01-2003 09:14 PM

Waco meet? Care to spill some beans?

I've been away too long.

Cheers,
-Neil.

Check Thread on WACO!

April 12 is not good for me either. Too much stuff going on.

Neil glad you are back!

Cobra Dude 04-03-2003 09:38 AM

Not actually back yet, but really close :) Nothing says I can't plan this remotely, right?

Found the thread on the Waco event.

As for Austin and April, I need feedback from the rest of the group. C'mon guys, chime in and let me know what you would like to do. Tell me what date(s) work for you.

Cheers,
-Neil.

I'm getting really close to my first start (maybe this weekend sometime). If you guys want to do lunch in Round Rock I'd be up for it, otherwise I'll be in the garage!

mustangmendez 04-10-2003 05:10 PM

I'm in for April. Going to Waco this coming weekend. Think I am free for the remainder.

james-w 04-10-2003 11:57 PM

Neil, we are in Waco this weekend and can't next weekend. How about the 26th?

James

Ed Csoltko 04-11-2003 09:11 AM

Waco BBQ

Kathy and I are thinking of driving to Waco Saturday morning. We were planning vacation on the balance of April, but we haven't locked anything in because of the air travel & SARS. The 26th might be open for us.

Blake Olson 04-11-2003 10:03 AM

just do May 10th, in Boerne!!!!!!!

live music, crawfish, cold beverages, margaritas, and cobras!

blake

Cobra Dude 04-11-2003 10:50 AM

Okay, looks like it's Waco this weekend, so we have 2 weekends left ... April 19 and April 26.

So far 2 votes for the 26th, and I'm available as well.
Ed 2, can you make it on the 26th?

What happened to everyone else in Austin?

Tony -- why do you need a new car? We'll chat this weekend.

Blake -- May 10 wouldn't really be an April meet, now would it? :3DSMILE:

Cheers,
-Neil.

Tony you might consider a truck/SUV that has a Gross weight over 6000 lbs and utilize a one year deduction that is up to $24K under Section 179. You have to buy it but with 0% APR why lease these days?

James
