Hey guys, we're gonna do NPR again on Nov 13th & 14th. This is really a great chance to drive a race course with no pressure and get no rock dings on your car. Check out my post on ALL RACING TALK.

It's a lot of fun and very safe. It's also run what ya brung.

This is going to be good timing. I am planning on going to the FFR Event in LV on Nov 7th to 9th. I leave LV on the 10th or 11th so should be in Dallas so I can go with the gang.

I will stop by on the way but do not have any firm date yet.

I paid the deposit today so it's definately going to happen.

Well guys we got 10 for Thursday and 15 for Friday. This is more fun than you can imagine. It's run what you brung and you'll have a blast. Once you come, you'll come back.

What do we need to bring with us?

Doug,

The only equipment we require is a helmet. You can run as fast or slow as you want, just drive safely and within your means.

It's a fun time and you'll get all the track time you can stand. You'll meet some fun people also.

Come on out and join us.

Do people have to 'sign up' with anyone or can they just turn up on the day ?

What time does the day start there? Tech. Inspection? Drivers meeting and all the good stuff?

I've let the FFR owners I know about in La know, and I'm getting a few questions.

THIS IS JAY. KEITH IS TRAVELING FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS SO I WILL ANSWER FOR HIM. THIS IS AN INFORMAL GET TOGETHER. WE WOULD PREFER THAT PEOPLE SIGN UP SO THAT WE KNOW WHO IS GOING TO BE THERE AND HOW MANY.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH DRIVER TO BRING A SAFE CAR TO THE COURSE BUT WE WILL HAVE NO TECH INSPECTION. WE MAKE UP THE RULES AS WE GO ALONG AND SO FAR THE ONLY RULES ARE BE SAFE AND DRIVE WITHIN YOUR ABILITIES.

WE MAY HAVE AN INFORMAL DRIVERS MEETING JUST TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES TO ALL THAT COME THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND ALSO TO FIND OUT WHAT PREFERENCES YOU HAVE IN DRIVING YOUR CAR. IF YOU WANT TO GO OUT ALONE THEN WE CAN DO THAT FOR YOU, IF YOU WANT TO LEAD AND FOLLOW, THEN THAT'S WHAT WE CAN DO.

IF YOU WANT TO LEAD, FINE. IF YOU WANT TO RUN ALL OUT, FINE.

IF YOU WANT INSTRUCTION, FINE.

WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT THIS IS A FUN GET TOGETHER WITH KEITH AND I HEADING THIS UP SO THAT WE GET ALL (AND I MEAN ALL) OF THE TRACK TIME EACH PERSON CAN STAND, NO MATTER HOW THEY WANT TO RUN.

WE THINK THAT 20 CARS IS THE MAXIMUM THAT WE WANT SO THAT EVERYONE CAN ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE. WE NORMALLY ONLY RUN 5 OR 6 CARS ON THE TRACK AT A TIME.

IF YOU GET CAUGHT UP IN TRAFFIC OR TRAFFIC CATCHES YOU, THEN PULL OFF, OR SHORT CUT THE COURSE (YOU WILL SEE WHAT WE MEAN THERE) OR PULL INTO PIT LANE AND LET THEM GO.

THE MAIN RULE I GUESS IS HAVE SAFE FUN. WE ARE GOING TO BE DOING THIS A LOT OVER THE NEXT YEAR SO BRING SOMEFFR GUYS AND RUN WHAT YA BRUNG.

There should be 10+ on Thursday and 15+ on Friday. We're coming in on Wedensday so I can run the drags at 5:00. It's test and tune night. Only $10 if you're interested.

We'll be at the track at 8:00 AM Thursday morning.

I have a 48' black trailer. We'll have a short drivers meeting and collect money then.

I've posted the info on the other forum. not sure if any are coming (1 is but he's well into the build). I've told them to let Jay know if they are coming and if so when.
