I got plans to race at Hallett in Tulsa that weekend. There is a chance I might miss it. But if I do, it's because I have another opportunity in Houston that weekend. So my odds are low. I haven't had the car out since July. It's a shame but I have been enjoying myself in my new ride. Take a look!
|
My neices wedding is that day, oh well. Another month I guess...
|
|
I might try to make it up...I can't think of anything going on that weekend.
|
Ryan!!! Look forward to seeing you! It's been a while, and the group would really like to visit with you.
Ed, I wish we had more flexability on the date, but we don't this month. The drive is really no further than driveing from North to south Austin. From IH 35 & 290 your only 17 minutes away from my place. Don't worry about a car problem, that's why we have trailers. I do understand about the "just finished" jitters. My car has never let me stranded once since finished. To close, that's what T.C.C. is all about, a bunch of very fine people that are there to help each other out in a pinch. |
Uncle Joe,
I will be in dallas that weekend at a wedding! Sorry! see y'all in November! blake |
"Case some thing falls off"
Ed#2, What did you use to build your FFR, super glue? Come out to Bastrop so we can check out your new FFR.
Everyone remember, this is a rain or shine meet. If it rains, use your civilian cars.:3DSMILE: |
Change of plans! Since my neices wedding is not until 6:30 that evening..........I will plan on making the meet and having some BBQ, but probably will leave after our romp around the countryside. See ya!
|
hey ed
remind the group about the 'cobras by the bay' event the weekend of november 7-8. i should have final details posted by the first of next week. have a great weekend. paul |
"FIRE'EM UP' The weather looks great for this coming Sat!!
We sure do need to get some more cars to show for this meeting!! Steve Cartwright has the Barbeque pits fired up and he and his crew are looking forward to checking out the cars as well as many more in the Bastrop area! Remember! Bastrop is not that far away from Austin "Look at your maps" If you want to make a short day of it, No problem! We can eat some great "Q", take a short cruise, and for those that want come back over to Elgin, Great . If not no problem!! The main thing is that we get togeather, if only for a short time!! "Uncle Joe" |
Have fun guys, too far away for me until I've got more running time on the car.
|
Remember!
Remember, It's rain or shine, cobras or no cobras! No excuses, use your civilian cars, trucks, SUVs, even motorcycles. It's the fellowship that counts, cobras are just a bonus. :p
Just think, if Tony can make it without a cobra every month, so can the rest of the Austin bunch. |
Well said Ed.
|
