Matt,

Thanks for the nice compliments.

Good Luck in getting your FFR to completion in the near future. I thought I had taken a long time in finishing mine but you certainly have me beat! :D

The meeting Sat. is at the 59 Diner on I-10 near Bingle.

Regards,

Terry

Would love to see some pix of your car from "Down Under". Do have any you could post on the forum?

I like the red, white and blue. Great car and it looks very safe.
It's a great combination of old and new.

TimG427,

Thank you for the compliments.

I chose the ffr spec racer for it's strong chassis and because it was the only cobra kit direct from the factory that was homologated to race in SCCA and NASA. It meets all the safety requirements for those organizations. I had originally wanted an Unique or ERA FIA kit, but they required a great deal more modification to make them pass the safety regulations to race and they cost a great deal more than the ffr kit, so that is why I went with the ffr spec racer.

I hadn't thought about it looking like a combination of old and new, but you're right it does.:D

Regards,

Terry

I finally put the hood on. Will be titling and registering in the next week. IF ANYONE WANTS TO GIVE ME ANY TIPS PLEASE CALL ME AT 252-0515. Also I was tossing around the idea of a carpeting party once I send the body off to be painted.

Howdy folks, went to the Autorama today at Reliant Center. Man I sure got the fever to get going again on the Cobra. I have spent very little time on it and haven't progressed like I hoped. Been doing a lot of woodworking in the garage, building cabinets and stuff. Whenever thats done the tablesaw goes in the corner. Seems like one project turns to another. I did pick up a used T-5 and now looking for a bellhousing. Good luck to all of you nearing completion. Glad to see your about done Mark! Way to go.:3DSMILE:
