Well, I think my time has come. I am considering selling my Cobra I bought in 2000. It has about 8000 miles on a 289 engine. Most of you have seen it. You can look on my picture page for a view. I have been racing for a few years now (not the Cobra) and am looking to move up into the ASA series next spring. The girlfriend said, "hey, sell the Cobra and let's go racing!" I can't argue with that. It's gonna take all I have and more to be competitive in this series so I am reluctantly ready to sell. It's in great shape, runs like a charm and is fast. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just a great running car at a great price. If it doesn't sell, it won't break my heart. But I am ready to pursue my dream in the big leagues. Know anyone looking? First $38k. Hey Don! How 'bout helping a fellow racer out?

Jeff

Who's gonna argue with your girlfriend telling you to go racing?

Jeff, I have my Lone Star up for sale, we are selling the Superformance line of cars now. So keep me up on your ASA plans, another friend of mine just started that series. Hopefully you won't run into him. His name is Jeff Harrison from grapevine , TX. Later , db

Well, I did it! I went to Atlanta and picked up the new race car and then took it to Nashville for the final race of the season for ASA Racing. The car felt good and did well. But the driver just wasn't quite up to speed and we did not make qualifying. First time in the car, first time at that track and first time in that series gave me 3 strikes I couldn't overcome. I was about a half second from qualifying times to make the field. They had 56 entries with 40 making the race. I will be spending the next couple months trying to put a program together for '04. Anyone have any help or suggestions, feel free to chime in. Hey Don, I sure could use a larger race trailer. Wanna loan yours out?
Seriously though...I will be selling my 28' Pace trailer along with the Cobra. The trailer would be great for any of you looking to haul your Cobra enclosed (up to 2 cars). You can find a picture of the trailer on my website at fiercemotorsports.org .
I may want to get out for one of the last times Friday after work if anyone wants to head out for a ride. Going to Houston on Saturday.
Jeff
