To clarify...

Unless you give me the information for the name badge in the format requested, you will not be counted and will not have a name badge. With well over 100 people listed so far I do not have the time or inclination to decipher your name, your make car, your location or to somehow figure out your guest's names.

Here's the format again - just like in the very first post.

"I'll need the names of those attending, make, location and your Cobra Club user name.

Our badges will look like this:
Colleen Halbert
LoneStar - Garland
Mrs. 66 Snake

Alan Halbert
LoneStar- Garland
66 Snake

Hmmmm!

Colleen.........You're doing such an excellent job of preparing us for for our annual meeting and I have noticed that you have activley posted on some other threads as well. Since you seem to have the same love and devotion to the club as we all do and the fact that you can actually carry on 6 conversations at once and not forget anything.........got me to thinking!!!!!
Well I think I will just say what's on my mind. As a founding member in good standing I am officially nominating the lovely Colleen as a candidate for the 2004 "PRESIDENT" of the Texas Cobra Club!:D :D :D

Gary%/  :p

As a not so long standing member, in a Cobra-less situation ... I second Gary's nomination.

Third. This band of rabble could use a woman to keep us in line.

Colleen, What are your plans in regards to the name tags? We are meeting at Greg's home next month to stuff packets with raffle tickets, maps, cruise instructions, etc.. Normally we staple the name tag(s) to the individual packet.

Greg has not established February's meet date, but we will require the name tags one week prior to our meet. You can send me the name tags:

Ed Csoltko
6500 Conifer Cove
Austin, Texas 78736

We will have to establish a cut-off date early February. Late registers will have name tags made at the hotel.

Ed -

Let's put the deadline at February 10th so I can get them made and sent to y'all.

I vaguely remember last years tags (kinda overwhelmed since it was my first time) - were they just the peel and stick kind? Do we want to do something a little more durable since many will get them on Friday? Like those ones with the plastic cover and the pin on the back? Either is fine with me.

Colleen

Gary, David and Snake eyes -

Thank you so much for the vote of confidence. I really appreciate it. Surely there are others who have just as great a love for this group as I do. I'm still learning the ropes and even still learning to drive the car. Maybe a president should be one who can actually cruise in Austin. ;)

But I will serve the group however I can, be it President or Name Tag Chick.

Colleen, Either way is fine with me. Stick on name tags work well, however the plastic pin type tags are more durable and expensive. Since you are doing the name tags, I'll let you make the decission which way to go. Thanks again for your support.
