Waco Rally
Waco Cobra Club is having their Spring Rally on May 7th & 8th.
Friday, those that want to come early we can meet at Rudy's B & Q off I-35, exit 333A south or north bound , you can see Rudy's east of I-35. On May 8th the Rally will start at 10 am at Speegleville III park for a car show, Burgers and Hot Dogs, Cold Drinks will start around 12 noon. Then at 2pm we will have a cruise to Prarie Hill Drag strip, it starts up at 4pm, you will be on your own as to running on the Strip. The prices last year was $5 for the grand stand $7 to run on the strip, it may be a different price this year. Direction on getting to Speegeville III Park, take I-35 to Waco, Exit Hwy 6 to Vally Mills/ Meridian, cross Lake Waco, take the first exit on your right, you will be able to see the Park. Tell the park keeper that you want to go to the Rally. To those that came last year, it is the location. If you need a pamplet mail your address to: Waco Cobra Club P. O. Who's Going to WACO?
Who's planning to go to the WACO Spring Rally from Austin, DFW, and Houston?
We had a great time last year. The WACO bunch planned a great cruise and lunch by the lake. I forgot how many Cobras attended, I think the count was between 20 and 30 cars. Some one correct me on the count. Kathy and I can't make it this year, we're taking a sea going cruise in the Gulf. We're returning on the 9th of May. |
