Pictures of CSX4758 Mr. Morris
Gary,
I sent you about 20 other images but thought you would like to see a few posted here until you download the others. The images are not high enough resolution to show it but the paint is pretty darn smooth even before the wet sanding. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../9574front.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...74rearsusp.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...574boadyps.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...rontfender.jpg |

Gary
Just looking around here. You have one for Saturday and one for Sunday?? %/ Sure looks good. Whoa - and yet to to be wet sanded. :3DSMILE: Cheers Bernie |
My dear ole buddy, ole pal, sweet as rhubarb pie, Mr. Royal, your highness:
I believe you have something I want. Kristen |
Actually I'm speachless....I have looked at the pictures James sent to me so much I need to make a backup copy. It still has not sunk in yet and for me this is a big jump but I'm looking forward to the learning experience....especially since I don't think CSX's come with any assembly manual like ERA does. Oh well I'm in good hands.......unless the Royal one bans me from the castle for having my illegitimate child.......hey Radish Head....mines faster and it's not even together yet!!

Gary, wow! Nice rear fender lips!
(Only on Club Cobra could such words have meaning:3DSMILE: ) Bob |
So tell me... this is a *delivered* 47XX Shelby South Africa roller?
Asking as someone waiting on the same... but this is good news! -JT |
JT...this is one of the cars that was to come from South Africa but to speed things up it was built in Las Vegas. CSX4758.
Gary |
Yeah ok... I knew that some were going that route too- still good to see the new rollers seeing the light of day!
Thanks -JT |
Beautiful.. AND it is BLUE!!
Gary,
Boy, does the new car look GGGOOOOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!!!! This really makes me happy to see pictures of this car and I do like the color!! Did you have any luck with the fuel log for the monster motor ??? I'm proud of you! Your older friend, John Russell |
Thanks John...still working on the log. Starting to have second thoughts on detailing the engine compartment. We did get one of those stainless steel expansion tanks.....so right now everything is either aluminum, chrome, or stainless....got to have some contrast somewhere. May powdercoat the stainless tank black.

Wow, it's nice to finally see what one looks like. Now you got me thinking of changing my color????
|
James,
If it is not too much trouble, I'd love to have the shots, also. timg@ccinsurance.com The car looks great, I hope to see it someday. |
Gary,
Bob called this morning and said it would take a 8 more weeks to complete. The reason, it fell off the body work stands and cracked the right rear fender. It has to go back into the body shop. I tried calling you at work but you were not available. |
:) Happy April 1st, Mr. Morris
sorry, couldn't resist |
I want a REFUND!!! Well at least it's fiberglass and can be repaired. 8 more weeks really sucks but what can you do.. ...I spoke with David Kee this morning to tell him about receiving my transmission...boy he does nice work. He also asked me to tell you he would check in directly with Tremec but things were not looking good on your transmission deal, but said he would contact you directly with the details. Did Bob say how bad the crack was and how much of the car would have to be re-painted? Well I guess I now have time to paint the garage and clean it up some more....again!! On the positive side I did find a fuel log for my sidewinder.
They're building it....so I will wait Gary:CRY:     |
Sorry, Gary, but they called back and have admitted they inadvertently mounted the body backwards. Never fear, though--just think of the front-wheel-drive benefits on those snowy Dallas mornings!:3DSMILE:
|
Hey Matt....I need your help. Mr.Baldwin NEEDS a group hug of love at the meeting Saturday.
