Parade Laps @TMS April 4th
Tom Meadows asked me several months ago to see if Texas Motor Speedway would allow Cobras to be driven in the parade laps prior to the Cup race. I got a call today from the track and they may be interested. The event would be from 9:00am until about 11:00am. You could drive your Cobra in a parade that is about a mile long on the race track. You would see the crowds from the drivers view point.

I count 8 Cobras that plan on being at TMS for the Parade Lap, before the Cup race on sunday, I though for sure we'd come up with more Cobra's!!

Well I'm definately in...come on guys its not like you get a chance to have 100s of thousands of screaming fans watch you go around an oval race track in your own cobra!

we all had to work and missed the texas cobra ralley dang it. this is on sunday and i am not going to miss this.

Keep in mind that Ft Worth is a drive for some of us. It's, like, over near, um, Abilene. Right? We're working on being there. All depends on if Alan can get away for the day. And I think it'd be something cool for the scrapbook. Colleen |

Well I guess anything is a "short drive" (2-4hrs) from Abilene ;) I just figured we should get a few more "locals" from the DFW than the handful that has piped up on this thread so far. I would love to but there one thing that makes it undesirable..There is no way I am going to sit in the traffic that is going to be around that place come Sunday.
