hey guys
bob, ryan and company. i'm headed your way next weekend and plan to get into town by 4 pm friday. i've got some tennis business to take care of and was thinking we might find something to do. i here the forum is closed on friday, but some of the car guys are meeting at "busby's"? on friday nights. anybody for a cruise on saturday morning? bandera was cool last time, although the senery went by to fast. then maybe a trip to one of the races saturday night? there is an all ford car show on sunday starting at 10 am at the walmart corner of 281 and 1604. figure i'll attend it. they have a class for cobra's. be nice if several of us attend. show ends around 4. then its back home for this "retiree". he, he. actually, ts back to teach tennis on monday- thursday. so i'm only retired from the school system. anyway, let me know if any of you are up for something to do next weekend-25-27th. ahhhhhh, back to my lounge chair. paul |

I'm in for all of the above, Ryan has his car apart now, he is making some modifacations to the suspension. I have not done a car show for a couple of years, maybe fun for a change. I will talk with the other guys and we will come up with something. Maybe we could run up to Marble Falls. I will get back to when we get a plan together. Do you want to do the drags or go to the circle track, let me know. C-ya |

I'm in for something...could probably take Bradys car because he's doing the reserves next weekend I think. If he's not, I'll ride along with him. My lower control arms probably won't be in until next Friday or so, so I likely won't have my car on the road by next weekend. Talk to you later this week...

We are planning a cruise up to Marble Falls on Sat. June 26. Would any of you care to meet us for some lunch? I don't have a plan as where to meet or a time, but if you can join us we will put a plan together. more later |

Kathy and I will drive up to Marble Falls in our air conditioned car. I was dripping wet when I got home from C&C last Saturday. (Summer is here!)
In the past the Cobras have met at Chili's Bar and Grill on the river. (Just a suggestion.) |

On Friday night, the only place I can find is Biff Busby's. Its on IH-35 north at Toepperwein, Just behind Whataburger in a small shopping center. As for Sat.night, lets go to the circle track. |

If the rain moves on its a go, the forecast doesn't look too good right now. I sure hope we can squeeze the trip in. I guess we plan on going for now, and make the final call Sat. mourning. Maybe we need to talk with the Royal One and have him bless the outing. LOL Lets see how things look tomarrow afternoon and catch the forecast later tomarrow. I will keep you posted. |

After seeing the latest forecast we have decided to call off the trip to Marble Falls. We will sill try to squeeze in something local here in San Antonio for Sat mourning. We just don't want to get caught in the rain 50 or 60 miles away from home. We will try again in the near future, we may even make your next monthly meeting. Thanks. |
