Awesome Gary! I wonder exactly what the differences are in the GT's motor and Lightning's version. Obviously a lot.

Charmer,
I think the block and the fact it is a 5.4L but most everything else is different including a bigger supercharger!

Ford GT
My father is ordering the Ford Gt today. So once it comes in I will give everyone an update on what it's like to drive it. By the way I will be buying his 900rwhp Mallet supercharged 427, I'm not sure, but I don't think I'm going to get rid of the superformance.

Cool link, my friend!!
Gary,
I just love sitting in my office with a T1 connection! Man, that is one cool video clip! Geez, I can't imagine how much fun it would be to drive a new Ford GT untill you run it out of gas on a track!!! I do remember what if felt like in a Cobra at MotorSport Ranch though , but "Oh Well"
This is really neat, and I am going to send this link to some other car buddies! Do I ever wish I knew someone that had a Ferrari!!!

Spoony, I see you're in St. Louis. I'm in St. Louis, also. Do you know
if your dad looked into what the personal property tax is per year on the
GT? After working overtime for several years, I find myself in a position
to contemplate purchasing a GT (if and when they start selling for near MSRP)
but I wonder about the cost of personal property tax and insurance.

Dan...
No I have no idea what the tax situation on the car will be. I'm sure it isn't pretty. But good luck with it. If you haven't seen one in person yet....Sunset Ford has one on the showroom floor....Beautiful Car!!!!!

Spoony,
I talked with a friend about the personal proerty tax situation and he recommended I do what many of the the motorhome owners do and set up a corporation in Montana. Apparently there are lawyers who will do this inexpensively. The corporation owns the vehicle but you own the corporation. Claims it's legal. I'm going to have to look into this.
