Default GT 40 Going Up For Sale

Hey Guys,

Thought I'd throw this out in the Texas Club first, just in case anyone has interest in my 1965 GTD GT40. Most likely will try ebay first then Cobra Country and/or Club Cobra, unless someone local is interested. Be nice to keep it in Texas.

Ford 289 with windsor jr heads, 44IDA webers, westlake/gurney valve covers, dual electic fuel pumps, mallory, spax coil overs, chrome upper and lower control arms, spax shocks, air condition, lots of polished aluminum, Audi Turbo 5 Speed Transaxle, GTD GT40 from England built to original Ford GT40 specs in 1997. 1,300 miles.....Titled as 1965 in Texas.

Anyway, anyone interested send me and email and/or call and I'll give you all the details and updates I've done etc. Don't have any real good pics, right now, other than what's in my gallery!

gsharapa@ford.com or call me at 214-289-8614.......later!

Wink Gary, Gary, Gary!

What's it going to take for you to own a sports car for any length of time. You go through cars as fast as my wife goes through shoes.

May be it's something in the Dallas air. I notice that several of the Dallas guys also have the same allergy as yours.

Ed, Dallas is were all the money is. Us poor folk, once we get a cobra, have to hold on to it cause we may not get another one.

James, don't tell anyone how much I'm spending to change the engine to efi...that will blow my whole theory on $$$.

The key is to keep changing cars so your wife doesn't really know what you have! The GT 40 is not a distress sale, so if it sells I'll do another Cobra or GT350R Replic. If not then I guess I'll just have to drive the GT 40 - or poor me!

Actually had it out last Saturday up to Keith Craft and terriorizing Plano..............
