Dallas April meeting
Saturday April 1, 2006 is being held at Snuffers on I-30 in Rockwall. It is next to Saltgrass and across the freeway from Culpepper Cattle Co. and the Oarhouse
Lots of parking, outdoor patio, great view of the lake and good food. 11:00 arrival or later, lunch whenever. I will reconfirm with the manager today and if there are any changes I will post them here. Okay Chris, do your magic. Jay |
Good idea Jay, that will be a great place for a meeting.
I've got some wrenching to do this week, but I will be there despite Elaine's comments on whether my car will start! BTW, I made the drive from Austin to Dallas just fine except ears are still ringing from 3 hrs. of pipes roaring. John |
Sounds like fun too bad I can't attend. Parents day at OU.
|
I'll try to be there
I'm working on the schedule for Sat. Hope to make it. Are we going to be drinking blue stuff or red stuff?
RR |
Green stuff. Done with the blue and red.

All,
here are the specifics Snuffers 2901 Village Drive Rockwall, TX 75087 972.722.9811 on the map it is the red star....might as well be on the other side of the world from Flower Mound **) see you tomorrow Chris |
nice little jaunt up the road from me!! :p
 hope to make it. Not sure yet. The parking lot entrance is off Village. It LOOKS LIKE you can enter from the West bound service road, but you CANNOT. Evidence of lots of ruts and people jumping curbs!!! look out! :) |
Nice Pick Jay,
A real good hill top view to the west if it isn't overcast. First exit after crossing the lake (for those coming from the west), hang a left at the stop sign. DPS sometimes hang out in the vicintiy of this exit. For some reason, the two three mile bridges seem to attract frequent cases of lead foot. Careful on the first driveway entrance; if I recall correctly, there is a little bit of rise (ground clearance). The second driveway may be a little more level (may require a pass and a turnaround). two good weekends is not possible
so I got up at 7 to cut the grass (tom thinks this is sleeping in) and was getting ready to leave...and it started to rain
with my luck it is sunny on that side of town  I guess I will see you all next month chris |
awwww, Chris. What's a little rain???
I think I looked like a 'wet poodle'. yup, SOME OF US actually drove thru a little rain!!!!! :p  kristen |
With all my computer woes, I can't get my memory stick to load. No pictures from today, yet. sorry! :(
can't load last weekend, either. It's all on a Cd, I'll try to upload tomorrow. It'll take a looonnnggg time! |
As soon as I pulled the car out, got rain here in Richardson too. Of course it couldn't do that during the week when we're stuck in an office! I really was looking forward to a Snuffers burger too. It really hits the spot after an evening of wine!
|
I think there were about 6-7 cobra's that braved the rain. Wusses!!!!
That's what happens when it's still 'new', I guess!  The evening I bought the car, it was also the first time I ever DROVE IT, I drove it home from Gary's in the rain. With a bed pillow behind my back as I couldn't reach the pedals. Talk about tense..... wet roads, and couldn't reach the pedals! Today wasn't too bad.... missed you Miles, and all you guys. Maybe next time... remember, next month the 'meet' is at AER in Carrollton, for the car show. Kristen |
Sorry I missed the meeting today. We were picking up trash on a 2 mile section of Hwy. 114 that Texas Driving Experience sponsors in the Adpot-A-Highway program. We have both sides of 114 between Hwy 35W and 377. Hope to see you all next month.
:D :D :D |
nice thing to do, Jim. Getting it all nice and purty for the big nascar race??? :D
Are you having a nice Birthday weekend??? ;) kristen |
Car show in Carrollton, huh? Greatness, cause Annie is looking awesome. Most definitely purty!:D If it's nice tomorrow afternoon about 5ish and you see a blurry black streak on 75 around Parker, look for the big grin on my face and the open gasping mouth of poor Amy!
 |
I had to miss also
My daughters volleyball tounement went long this w/e as well. For the third tounement in a row they were one of the last tow teams in the gym playing a third game tie breaker. The only difference is this time they won it all. They were one fired up bunch.

We are just testing our new personal icon with this post... If the picture posts successfully, can anyone guess what manufacturer we are looking at most closely? Please check out the video from last week's gathering. John |
