Is it too hot
for an evening meeting or are we still in the breakfast mode?

I am up for either one, since it will be hot either way. I've driven around some in the evening lately and at it is not too bad compared to between 10am and 6pm.
Jay, any ideas if it were in the evening? ........is anyone out there? |

I'm here, just lurking. Evening sounds great to me. I don't feel comfortable making any suggestions where to gather though. You probably want some place with a patio view of the parking lot if it is going to be a restaurant, or how about a drive-in style place like a Sonic or Keller's ? |
August Meet
The last evening meet we had was at Cruiser's in Plano. Good location.

july, august, september, MORNING. :p
October, ('05) was TERRIFIC evening cruise to "Cruiser's". We did Cafe Brazil on I-75 (central) up north somewhere last year. That was nice. Jay had to push of course..... good coffee, can't remember breakfast.... September last year we did in Forney at Ernie Bell's. It is gone, and some other style restaurant in its place. Not a breakfast place. If we are voting, I vote for early! :D kristen other comments?? votes?? ;) :LOL: |
I vote for breakfast too. Original Pancake House at SE corner of Beltline/Tollway has a good breakfast and, given a headcount, can hold seats for us up til 7:30. Plenty of parking. Can't remember if it's visible from the dining room or not.

Miles, I love the Original Pancake House. If we get there early, we can grab plenty of parking at the side while we wake up the city of Addison.

Cool, I'll set it up. ETA=7-7:15, drool over the new rides, seating at 7:30.
Original Pancake House is at 5100 Beltline, on the SE corner of N. Tollway and Beltline, the old Sakowitz Village, way in the back. If you haven't tried their giant Apple Pancake or a Dutch Baby, you should give 'em a try.
