I'm gonna have a cold one. Ooops, I meant it's gonna be a cold one. ;-)

If you haven't already purchased a gift for Saturday, I'd like to pass on some information I've learned working with our toy drives. Lots of gifts get donated for younger kids and older girls. But older boys (9 and up) seem to be an area people don't buy for as much. And this is a perfect group to have insight into the mind of tween/teen boys. :)

It might have cost a little more than doing it by mail-order,but 7-11 has a 10# bag of charcoal.:)

Looking forward to the meeting. It has been a little while since I have been to one. Should be a "cool" one. - Steve T.

I'm bummed out I can't make it Saturday as I will be out of town. I was wanting the group to hear my new KC 482 genesis with the 3" core side pipes Rob at Keith Craft made for me. It sounds awesome!!! It sounds the way a big block FE is suppose to sound. It runs even better. I'll catch up with the group in January. Todd

thomi_snake 11-29-2006 07:04 PM

will make the meeting

I will be in town this Saturday. Looking forward to seeing ya'll at Champps and AER.

Our son has accused me that that the 'Silver Bullet' will only start in the garage, and that the transmission is missing...so as a surprise to him....Mango 2 and Mango 3 will be there....if the transmission is indeed there...and it is above 40 degrees outside!

427Aggie 11-29-2006 10:12 PM

Alright Jim...good to see you coming out to a lunch...Hope there is no sun on Saturday or you might run someone off the road in that mirror.**)

Looks like you can save me a space also. The girls are scattering after the parade, so I will be late (11:30) and by myself.

Miles, save me a spot one space DOWN WIND of Annie so she can block the wind. You know how my car prefers to be pampered.

Steve S.

Hi Folks,

Champps it is! If I get there and do not get out of the car in a timely fashion , it will mean my fingers are frozen to the wheel and shifter. Please help. Single malt always works.

My son,Josh, will be in that Parade Saturday.Playing the Tenors (5 drums) with the Little Elm High Schoool Marching Band.:)

LuvDaBlues 11-30-2006 06:12 PM

Hey Fred,

You're talking about the Adolphus parade, right? Sarah will be marching with the Heath High School drill team. I'm going to park the Cobra in an underground parking garage during the parade so no one messes with it while watching Sarah. Then my wife will drop me off at the garage and I'll head to Addison while she heads to another party. What are your plans?

Steve S.

392cobra 11-30-2006 07:07 PM

I plan to be there. Heck I drove back from Austin with Jim J. last year in similar temperatures.

Larry R. - If you are going we can meet here and drive on over. Since you have a Coupe there is no weather excuse!

Madmiles442 12-01-2006 11:17 AM

Weather-by-the-hour says around 40 tomorrow at 10am and there won't be any ice left, so Kristen, see you and Pepe there.
We'll save you a spot Steve.
I've got new photos in my Gallery. I think some of them came out pretty well. Same car, new shots - just being a proud Papa...

Lil CoBro 12-01-2006 05:26 PM

Great photos Miles. Very pro with the angles.

Texas-Saluki 12-02-2006 03:34 PM

not a fun trip home

Well... guess I should have spent a few more min trying to figure out what was going on... On the way home from AER I made it to the corner of Beltine and marsh. Thankfully Randy was behind me and stopped to help.

The hose came off again (this is where is starts to get funny)

I then went a purchased some more antifreeze and a screw driver. Filled it up (after 30 min went by) and off again. About a mile down the road off the hose comes again.... I am ready to call a tow truck at this point.

Looking at the hose clamp I noticed I was putting it on in a way it was catching on the steering assembly and when I turned the wheel... was torquing the clamp and pulling it loose. I put the clamp back on, fill it up and thankfully made it all the way home.

What a long day :MECOOL:

Big thanks to Randy for helping me... otherwise I would have been stuck

so after a nice bath SALUKI is in the garage for a nice winter nap
