Default DFW January Meeting

There is a new Bass Pro Shop that has opened in Garland. They have a pretty cool restaurant called Fish Company (they also serve burgers and stuff) that has a very large aquarium. Would you be interested in having our January meeting there?

Jim,

It's a good idea, but you can not see the parking lot from the restaraunt. Yancey and I went last week, and the dining is down by the water, while the entrance and parking lot is up on the hill.

Thoughts?

Steve

PS: Jim, check your PM box

There is a circle drive next to the windows at the restaurant and they said we could move our cars there when we get ready to eat.

I'll be there but Annie has settled down for a long winter's nap. Put her up on jackstands last weekend to start my list of projects.
Christmas is a time when I reflect on the year past. What a year! The first year without my Dad, got Annie in March, re-landscaped the whole yard, major switch at work with a promotion.
And I met a new family and great group of folks centered around a little 2-seater car. It has been a wonderful year filled with great experiences and I'm thankful to have such a great gang in this club.
We're headed to the hill country for the holidays.
Yall have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. If you're traveling, be safe.

I would like to seconded what Miles said, I've now been a part of the club for two years and I have had a blast. We are all so blessed and take so much for granted. Let's all continue to pray for our troops and their families, this is a tough time of year for them.

I appreciate our friendship and look forward to sharing more adventures!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

look forward to meeting you, hotrod.

Jim. David and I went to lunch at BPshop today. Very nice. I checked with manager about that 'party/sunroom'. We can have it... need to call him with details. I'll call you next week to give you any info i have.

Count me in for 4. My two daughters will attend again.

Dropping my car off the jacks this weekend with newly finished side pipes, replaced lower radiator hose, new clutch reservoir and hose (which was NOT the problem, damn it). So if I break down, I'm within 5 miles of home.

Until Jan 6th, Merry Christmas, and go Sooners!

Miss you all !!

Looking forward to Islamorada Fish Company Restaurant at Bass Pro, and looking forward to seeing all of our Cobra Family and Friends. I posted a few more pictures in my gallery.

Kristen... Vicki will work Friday night 7P-7A, but will try to make it. If so, how about that mild to semi-wild cobra ride for her in li'l pepe ?

Merry Christmas All,
John

Hi Tom - I'm going to try and get them to block our spaces at 10:00. We've been arriving around 11:00 and having lunch. They are located off of I-30 (Lake Ray Hubbard) at 5001 Bass Pro Drive. Going East you will exit to the right (South). Their phone number is 469-221-2600.

Jim,

Do we want to park in the parking lot above first, then move to the circle below? Or straight to the circle? Either way, I can arrive early with a bunch of soccer cones and block spaces off since I'm only 10 minutes away. Your call.

If so, everyone attending needs to chime in for a count.

Kinda funny. With this event so close, I don't get to drive very far and no caravanning (unless you’re coming through Heath). Bummer. Maybe I'll take the long route. Let's say..............via Rowlett and Richardson.

Steve

They would like us to park in front where the cars will have visibility. Then at lunch we will pull the cars down to the circle. Steve S - Great idea about you bringing your cones, I'll also be there early to help. Additionally, they have asked two things, a head count and to have only one food ticket. The gratuity will be built in at 18%. So bring cash.

Can I get a final head count by next Tuesday?

Vicki and I are checking in with one-head each.

Long-range forcast says a slight chance of rain early Thursday, but dry for the few days following with highs in the upper 60s. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
