New Club President?

What's the protocol for nominating our new President?

I cannot think of a better representative who has the most fun with her car and a GREAT ambassador for our club (worldwide) than KRISTEN.

Am still to new to the process, how do I nominate her??

jdean 01-15-2007 11:02 AM

Jim,

Great Idea!

I think you can nominate her any time, but the voting is during the Austin event.

hey,littlecobra 01-15-2007 12:12 PM

no, thanks!

there is a protocol, i'm not it!!!

it'll be handled by a select group in Austin.

thanks, tho'.

anyway, i don't think Texas is ready for a female president.... ;) :D

Jim Jacobs 01-15-2007 12:28 PM

Are you saying you would decline if nominated:confused:

that's all i'm saying!!!

i'll call ya! :D

jdean 01-15-2007 03:19 PM

Kristen, I dont think there is a protocol for not accepting nomination. I read that on page 544 section 3 paragraph 2.1.0 of our TCC constitution/by-laws/handbook/user guide/dress code/loan agreemen/vcr instructions/build sheet/warranty/brunch menu.

I KNOW you had to be class president in high school, esp. if you had an MG, so you can handle it!

Ed Csoltko 01-15-2007 03:33 PM

I've been told (back in 2004) that the past TCC presidents do the nominating. This is a secret process behind closed doors. Anyone with advanced knowledge is rapidly dealth with. This is a blood ritual, sworn to secrecy.

And they also decide from which city/town/area the nominees come from.

Kristen's right. It's up to the gasholes :JEKYLHYDE

Everyone else ... mind your own business %/ **)

Doug I 01-16-2007 03:27 PM

The Gasholes decide who's going to be President

I thought we voted ....... once every 4 years or so ..... :p

jdean 01-16-2007 06:32 PM

The gasholes only decide on the U.S. president, not the TCC president.

Dennis Mosley 01-16-2007 07:59 PM

The past presidents sure have been quite on this thread. I wonder where the heck those guys are:D Oops I resemble that remark. I'm not stepping into this one this early. I saw my shadow so I'll be crawling back into my hole for at least another month.

the former El Aggie Presidente of the TCC

dblbarrel 01-16-2007 08:11 PM

I believe that Jamo and Turk have already handled this.
So no worries.:)

hey,littlecobra 01-16-2007 08:41 PM

no issue. don't worry about it. :)

protocol dictates how it is decided in Austin.

kind thought, Jim, I appreciate your confidence, and I'm just hoping this slides right off the page. :)

very sincerely,
Kristen

Doug I 01-17-2007 05:45 AM

New Nomination

Well, I hereby, being of unsound mind and very little good judgement nominate Colleen for President.
With Kristen in one corner and Colleen in the other this calls for a run-off. The only way to handle this is like men, you know where I'm going with this. Yep, a wet tee-shirt run-off between the two **) :3DSMILE:

It's the only way

hey,littlecobra 01-17-2007 02:45 PM
