Colleen do you remember these cookies, they are the same ones I brought to your halloween party where you ate :LOL: :LOL: all of them, I think. I told Rae to make extra so others can have some too.

NO GRILLS!!!! NO GRILLS!!! The Marriott Hotel said that there is to be no grills or open flames allowed in the parking lot of the hotel, too may cars and too much fuel. They said that the Round Rock Police would be there for security and to patrol the area and would assess fines for any violations.

Rudy’s is a great idea; I will pony up the cost of my original sausage offer plus a little. Put me down for a buck and a half and call Rudy’s. Consider this a done deal.

Rudy's is a great idea. Good BBQ. Count me in for a couple of bucks towards the kitty.

Kinda figgered the Marriott might have a problem with the great smokeout .. ok, I'll bring my plan B offering .. sodas and bottled water .. and I'll also be happy to chip in for the meat:)

A few folks gonna drive up the road to rudy's and grab 150# of sausage?? Don't we need to 'put in the order' ahead of time??? Get some sauce, too!

Chris. Rudy's is a really good BBQ place up the road a couple of miles. A few years in a row we've gone up there for the Thursday night 'dinner time' (before we've done these 3 parking lot parties.)

here's a pic from last year. About 15 of us went up there. Basically, it's a BBQ place in a gas station. :)

I'm sure we can get the meat, in aluminum to go containers. We just need to let them know we need that much. That's a lot....

Consider it don! I will stop and make arrangements for it on my way down Thursday. Rudy’s is pretty close to the hotel on I35. What time should I pick it up on Friday? What time do we start with the food that night?

I've completely missed this thread. I know it is late but I will contribute whatever is required by my place in the alphabet. I guess the local supermarket will be the source, or can I just help defray the cost of something? I'll check with Colleen upon arrival on Thursday.
