Default Austin Meet Cruise and Lunch Info?

Hey guys and gals out there, what's the latest on the cruise for Saturday and the restaurant? I'm trying to get info for the Kit Car Mag editor that's coming. Last year was a little tuff for parking and sitting together for lunch on Saturday. Some sat inside, some in a big room, while others in another couple of rooms.

Is there a better plan for lunch?

Perhaps a place like in 2005?

How about the cruises, any routes planned yet?

Thanks for any input,

James

Default I will post a partial Itinerary

i will post a partial itineary tomorrow when I get back to the office. Too answer your questionS:

Is there a better plan for lunch? Yes

Perhaps a place like in 2005? That is where we plan to stop. The place where we plan on doing a group photo is about five minutes from the restuarant. We will hit that after we eat.

How about the cruises, any routes planned yet? Friday is a cruise to the oasis during Lunch Time and then hopefully a little surprise Friday afternoon.(still working on that and hopefully it will come together) Saturdays cruise is in the final stages some where between 100 - 150 miles total

Keep them coming.

BTW James sorry about the radiator. My suggestion is Duck Tape

Default Plenty

Should be plenty for both. Just make sure you go before we leave the restuarant.

Thanks Gregg for the info. I look forward to seeing you again this year. By the way, are you going to have your ride there this year?

I really liked the restaurant a couple of years ago. What was the name? It was also a nice drive.

Kristen, no peeing on electric fences...

Gregg, I'd love to have a co-pilot, but it's already taken. Sorry...

Best of luck in Iraq and stay SAFE...

See you in Austin, James

Default Dang...........

For the fourth year in a row I can't make this trip as I'll be out of the country on a whirlwind European trip in a week. I swear one of these days I'm gonna make it. Y'all have fun and be safe!

John,

What happen to the family and John Jr?

Amazing how things change when they get older. Shawn now home living with us since graduating from Tech in Dec looking for a job, Sheena coming home for spring break from OU, I started new job at Ford..........seems 6 years ago things were much slower paced. I called Bill Wages earlier this week to see if he could take your car as I can't really drive mine with my heal problem and he told me he has to back out due to another car show commitment that just came up at Texas Motors. I'm going to try and still make it down for a couple cocktails (Sc....h) if my schedule permits.

Gregg,
I'd be happy to let you take my seat for part of the cruise if John is cool with my riding shotgun with him.

I want to make sure your '07 Spring Meet is fabulous enough to keep you thinking fondly of us while you are out of the country.

Sharpie, you are coming with or without a car. And you are bringing Monica with you!!! No ifs, ands or buts. So there.

Colleen

Will be potty breaks and many opportunities for fuel on the Saturday route. Wish I knew how to post the route on this forum. It'll be in your packets when you register. Route is 101 miles and we end up at the Marriott.
