DFW April Meet
It's getting late.....
Wednesday afternoon and nobody has posted anything..... :confused: I think it was suggested something in Grapevine?? Can't remember!!! :p I am not in charge, not sure if i can come, but somebody needs to pick a place, notify management, and get this going! Typically, lunch place with good parking, meet at 10:30, lunch at 11. Any takers??? I'm sure the group will be somewhat smaller, given that's it's Easter weekend and a lot of folks will be out of town. Peter has a baseball game at 12. :( ;) If I make the one Friday afternoon, and Graham's on Friday night, can't I miss the one on Saturday at 12??? Girls' softball practice and soccer game have been canceled. Looking good but I don't know yet. Kristen (the idea of Grapevine was so that DOUG AND LORETTA might come!!! :p :D ) ps. If I can make it, remember we will have a 'name the baby' contest and winner!!! |

I can't make it this month. :( I have the family duty a$$whip of a sister-in-law birthday on Saturday in Bonham, then a father-in-law birthday at Rough Creek Lodge on Sunday. All that driving and not a moment in Annie. Damn! :CRY:

It's set with Colter's Grapevine!
I called Colter's Grapevine and spoke to manager "Derek" to see if there would be any issues (like if they were closed or anything). I said expect maybe 24 people, we'd like to pull some tables together or be segregated if possible. They will give us their banquet room if it is not already booked, he was not sure, but as a minimum they'd pull some tables together.
Arrive around 10:30 as you prefer to socialize prior to entering the restaurant. They open at 11:00, we can go in anytime after that. I don't know what the parking lot looks like, so first Cobra's arriving, do what makes sense ... If anyone gets lost you can reach me on my cell 214-738-4865. I won't be able to help you, but I'll tell everyone else you're gonna be late:D:D Again, the address is: 1720 State Highway 26, Grapevine, TX .. adjacent to Bass Pro/Embassy Suites on the south, facing SR26 (Northwest Hwy). and the map is attached about four messages back.
