I'm just gonna 'tag' my pics along with Larry's, since he starts out with ME anyway!!!

here's a shot from the Sonic.

forgot to take my camera (and cobra) to the track on Friday, what with the rain and all. So.... couldn't capture Miles' spectacular driving exhibition on film. bummer.

So.... Friday night, at the tailgate party.
Sam did a great job grilling all that that that MEAT. yummm! sausage, weenies, brats.... I have a lot to say about all that but in the interest of GOOD TASTE I'll refrain.... But.... that big, thick brat was really good... thank god nobody caught that great big bite on film!! Matt- no camera handy??

John manages quite well one handed! Amazing he drove his rig and then the Cobra all over. Find it bizarre yet somehow natural that a tandem team could drive/shift the Cobra down the city streets of Tulsa. Looked a little odd but it worked!!

Saturday. out at the track, and waiting for everything to dry up. Clois was getting 'hot' so tried to figure out something with the thermostat. He ran a few more sessions, so guess he got it!

nice group of buddies on the track. Saturday we went CLOCKWISE, and that was quite different. Of course i've only driven this track a couple of times before, so it was that radical for me. I'm sure the guys that had been driving for a couple of days really noticed the difference.

a shot going DOWN into the b!tch, not up out of it. You can really see the elevation change on the backside. Blind hills, either direction.
The red/yellow flag came out a couple of times- yup, TURTLE CROSSING THE ROAD! nobody wanted to hit those turtles and cause the splat that spun the next guy...

Elaine caught this pic of me cruising into the b!tch. I watched a few times from the fence, and noticed a lot of folks braking 'late' into it. So.... i wanted to make sure i didn't brake too late but wow it comes up quick and if you miss.... I chirped a couple of times before downshifting. guess i didn't quite get the hang of it.

well had to have a photo of helmet head somewhere.
