Gear Ratio Help
Hey Guys! I need a little help. I am trying to figure out what is the best gear setup for my rear end and was hoping to see what others are running. Currently, I have 351 Windsor, 4.11's, and a TKO500 with overdrive and at 70 MPH I am sitting at about 3500RPM. I want to reduce the RPM's down to 2400 at 70. Any suggestions or maybe I could get so of your current setups to compare to. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

A Gear Near 3.23 Will Put You Where You Want To Be.

(Old RPM)*(New Gear ratio/Old Gear ratio)=New RPM
So to take Rick suggestion you would get:
3,500*(3.23/4.11)=2,750 RPM

Greg,
You did not tell us what if ANYTHING you would be willing to give up sp you can be reading 2.4K on the tac. With the more is better additude of this group why not just go with MORE !!!!!
You have a sweat car now and the engine would pull most any gear combo you could dream of but this is a plug n play for my cars. Check with the tranny gods but I think you would simply love it !!!!!!!
